Forty years ago, the late John Rollins of Wilmington, Delaware fell in love with Jamaica. He bought the original Rose Hall Plantation near Montego Bay, and restored its magnificent great house to its 18th Century grandeur.

Today Rose Hall's 7,000 acres are being lovingly developed by the Rollins family into one of the Caribbean's finest resort communities. Guests are welcomed to the Five-Diamond Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort, which has 427 luxurious rooms looking out over the turquoise sea.

Ardent golfers may test their skills against Robert von Hagge's new White Witch golf course, set in the rolling hills above Rose Hall where 16 of the 18 holes have spectacular views of the Caribbean. The option to play along the beach itself is available on the Cinnamon Hill Course, next to the popular Rose Hall Resort and Country Club.
